“Never give up. Never give up.  Never give up.”

– Sogyal Rinpoche

Some days, you just can’t get rid of a bomb, and some days a shark just won’t let get of your damn leg.

But no matter what happens, the lesson is folks – never, never, never give up.

It’s one lesson I’ve learned from Batman over and over again. It’s basic, it’s simple, it works.  There is nothing fancy or fun about never give up.  It means putting in the hard work, it means paying attention, it means getting up early to train that Bat-Body and Bat-Mind.

It means even when you get into arguments with your friends and loved ones, get super-stressed out, you never give up who you are or what you stand for, and there are NO EXCUSES for living any life other than the one you were born to live.

Putting it that way sounds rather grandiose, but at the end of the day the real inspiration I get from Batman is that you just keep moving forward.  When you fall, you get up.  When you fail, you use it not to reinforce a negative self image – but instead as fuel that drives you onward and upward towards greatness.

In the game of life, nobody wins.  There are only those who live life with truth, integrity and passion, the kind everyone has as child, that zest for life – and those who have given up on their hopes and dreams.

It saddens me when I meet people who justify their mediocrity, but will not life a finger to help themselves.  Batman doesn’t give up.  He doesn’t do “lazy” or ” too hard” or “I can’t be bothered”.  He lives in the moment, and he does everything in his power to make the word a better place than when he entered into it.

If you love Batman as much as I do, then let that love for Batman inspire you to be the greatest version of yourself that you can imagine.  Keep training, keep learning, be all you can be.

That doesn’t mean you don’t love and enjoy where you are right now in life, but when you’ve climbed the first mountain – then keep moving, keep that momentum flowing from one achievement in life to the next.  Celebrate you victories daily and leave your failures to gather dust.  No matter where you are, now is always the perfect time to begin, or continue along the path of wisdom, truth, courage, love, compassion, discipline and never ending growth.

If all that seems too complicated just remember this mantra:

  1. Hі there, i read үour blog frоm time to time and i own a similar one and i waѕ just curious iif yօou get a

    1. Install “askismet” application.
I don’t know what blogging platform/software you are using. I use Askismet here on WordPress, (available for both hosted and free accounts under “tools” if you use another blogging platform, I would still look up “askismet” and see if it is compatible with your blog. If not, then do a search for “anti-spam apps for blogs”, there are various paid and free ones, but I don’t know any others by name.
